Burckhardt wins contract for new research building in Berlin-Adlershof
The historically grown technology and science location Berlin-Adlershof is considered an internationally recognised research location. Now a new building with around 18,000m2 of floor space is to be constructed on the site at «Groß-Berliner Damm 149».
Excellent: 18th place for Burckhardt in competitionline Ranking 2022!
Burckhardt achieved an excellent 18th place in the «Architecture» category of all competition offices out of a total of 29,000 architecture offices in Germany.
Ludwig Cancer Research, Biopôle Epalinges: Groundbreaking ceremony
The Vaud authorities and representatives of the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV) and Ludwig Cancer Research (LICR) met on Wednesday 29 March 2023 on the Biopôle campus in Epalinges to place the traditional time capsule in the foundations of the building under construction.
Our vision: Always beta – a networked educational campus for artificial intelligence
Burckhardt was invited to participate in the international idea and realization competition for the Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence (IPAI) in Heilbronn. Nine internationally renowned offices were among the participants presenting their future-oriented visions for the educational campus on the Steinäcker site in the north of Heilbronn. The «Made in Baden-Württemberg» project will generate considerable international interest.
Burckhardt wins «Kocherei» competition for Attisholz site, Riedholz
Burckhardt Architektur AG emerged as the unanimous winner of the competition against six other participants with its project «The Pioneer House». The «Kocherei» building on the Attisholz site in Riedholz (Solothurn) will be supplemented with a new southern section, creating a total usable space of 18,000m2. The project will be implemented between 2024 and 2026.
