At this year’s Swissbau in Basel, José Algeciras Rodríguez and Paul Curschellas from Burckhardt presented the BIM application method using the «Dreiklang» Aarau Cantonal Hospital project as an example.

«We were able to show today that construction is also a team sport and so we have not only scored a goal with BIM2Field, but will achieve further successes in the future through efficiency,» explained Paul Curchellas, VDC/BIM Manager, after the presentation and José Algeciras, architect, looks to the future: «We are ready for new challenges».

Discussions on the Collaboration Stage rounded off the presentation and offered participants exclusive insights into the method, which shows how a major project can be realised completely without paper plans. The new building of the Aarau Cantonal Hospital, one of the largest centre hospitals in Switzerland, is being realised in cooperation with wörner traxler richter.
