Rhône Monnaie office building, Geneva
Built in 1975 for Credit Suisse, the Rhône-Monnaie building is a prominent landmark between the old town and the Rhône. From the banks of the Rhône, the Place de Bel-Air or the Rue de la Cité, the eye is drawn to one of the three façades of this bank building.

Project specifics
Project of urban renewal
The complete renovation of the building aims to reorganise the workspaces, taking advantage of the considerable length of the façade to create an open and airy environment. On the ground floor, the Passage de la Monnaie, which ensures the permeability of the block, has been redesigned to accommodate new shops and the bank’s entrance.
Design concept
The six upper floors, which are free of all dividing walls, have large spaces in which the workplaces extend along the façades. These open-plan office areas are framed at certain points by separate offices for the management or by meeting rooms. All technical superstructures and chimneys have been removed from the top floor. There is a panoramic terrace, a spacious foyer and four meeting rooms from which you can enjoy an exceptional view.
