After about 8 years of planning and construction, the time had come: the topping-out ceremony Hinterkirch laid the foundation stone for the opening of the new residential development in Reinach, which will breathe new life into the former site of a tube manufacturer.

Around 400 guests accepted Burckhardt’s invitation. In addition to representatives of the companies and authorities involved, owners, neighbours and the Reinach municipal council were also present. After an official part with speeches, the majorette and show dance group «The Starlights» thrilled the audience. The band Black Box Music provided the musical entertainment.

The 8 apartment buildings with a total of 87 flats offer varied and high-quality living. The architectural project Hinterkirch by Burckhardt was designed in cooperation with the town of Reinach, landscape architects and sociologists.
