Hundreds of companies, organizations, colleges and universities throughout Switzerland opened their doors on 9 November 2023. Burckhardt too welcomed young people on Thursday morning to give them an insight into the various professions found at the architectural office: From drafting technicians specializing in architecture, to architects, from site and project managers to commercial professions – they were all presented to the visitors.

Some of the most popular activities saw the young guests drawing their own dream house or building a model in the model workshop, where they could try out the Styrocutter for themselves.

The outdoor highlight and final item on the program at the Basel office was an outing to the Hinterkirch housing development in Reinach BL, which is currently under construction.
