The new project to renovate the Samaritan Hospital «Riviera-Chablais», Vaud-Valais (HRC) in Vevey has been launched. The renovation work will make it possible to meet the needs of the population of the Riviera, particularly the elderly.

The new integrated care centre will include an on-call medical service, specialist outpatient consultations, acute geriatric care, rehabilitation, and community care based on an innovative approach to care for the elderly. The new centre is scheduled to open in 2027.

Burckhardt will be responsible for the planning and studies required for the development of this important project, from the preliminary design phase through to completion and the planned opening in summer 2027.

The management and financing of the project will be fully assumed by the Foundation for the Support of the HRC (FSHRC) in close collaboration with the HRC and the cantonal health authorities.
