In order to ensure consistent and efficient business management, it may be necessary to exchange data between different companies within the Burckhardt Group (intercompany data exchange). When you access our website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website hosting provider. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called server log file. Information such as IP addresses, the names of the files accessed, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred and the provider are recorded without your intervention and stored until they are automatically deleted. The aforementioned data is processed for the purposes of ensuring a smooth connection to the website, ensuring the convenient use of our website, evaluating system security and stability, and for other administrative purposes. Our legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR follows from the above-mentioned purposes for data collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cookies are used to enable the user to enjoy a smooth and improved experience on the website. These are small text files that are sent to the user&#8217;s browser to enable recognition of the user (e.g. to recall the user&#8217;s settings on their next visit to the website or to save the user from having to re-enter information when switching between functions that require a password).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The use of cookies serves, on the one hand, to make the use of our website more pleasant for you. We use so-called session cookies to recognise that you have already visited individual pages of our website. This provides the network with the information that you have visited our website with your IP address and accessed the link.
